Once again Dr. Doolittle, AKA Dear Leader, has descended from the heavens to
lecture us animals and in a language we can understand, blessed be the “won.” And
blessed be we the miserable and unwashed for the Savior to tell us what we need to
do.

I don’t know about you, but I was convinced by the mere sight of six white coat-
clad “doctors.” And unlike animal Eric Cantor who brought the actual bill to the
summit, the medical six couldn’t be considered a
prop could they?

Don’t forget the table scraps thrown at the canines, you know, the bone to “study”
Republican suggestions, and then call the upcoming bill “Bipartisan.”

If Obama can still find six unidentified morons to stand behind him in lab garb, that
in and of itself is amazing. Having the audacity to
demand Congress soil itself by
going against the American people is a little out there, even for a Progressive. Did
the Messiah misplace his memoirs? Let me be of assistance to the exalted Won.

On 7/12/06 Obama said, “If we want to transform the country that requires a
sizeable majority.” On 10/9/2007 DL lectured, “You’ gotta break out of what I call
the 50 plus one pattern in presidential politics. Maybe you can squeeze out a victory
but then you can’t govern…We are not going to pass universal healthcare with a
fifty plus one strategy.”

I grew up on a crocodile farm. I was an only child--eventually

When I was a little boy, I remember being in my room and playing with little toy
soldiers and metal animals. I anointed myself leader of the beasts. It was easier to
elect myself leader of the wild because I could make up our bilingual
communication when creating logistics in beating the favored military combatants.
My less developed hordes of herds
always won.

I think Obama had a similar experience growing up, only his boyhood games still
obsess him. Dear Leader doesn’t share the language of the common man. Maybe
this well known ditty will help him break down the barrier.

To the tune of
Talk to the Animals:

Dr. B. Hussein Doolittle

If I could talk to Republicans, just imagine it
Chatting to Palin in Eskimo
Imagine talking to McCain, chatting Scotty Brown
What a neat achievement high and low.

If I could talk to the animals, learn their languages
earn a conservative degree.
I’d study Cronyn and Cantor, Ryan and Newt Gingrich,
Scolia, Mitch McConnell, Hannity

I would converse in DeMint
I could curse in Rubio.
If people asked me, can you speak in Limbaughroo,
I'd say, "Of coursio, can't you?"

If I could talk to the animals, learn their languages
Think of all the things we could discuss
If I could walk with the mammals, talk with beasties,
Grunt and squeak and squawk at Tea Parties,

Then they could squeak and squawk and speak Marxist to me.

Never fool with a buffalo or be buffaloed by a fool

Not only do the majority of the 300 million American creatures hate Obamacare
more each time Barack speaks, the ignorance has oozed to the left side of the aisle.

Bart Stupak (D-Michigan), in response to Dear Leader’s 35th HC speech said, “If it’
s the proposal that the Senate passed and nothing’s changed in it …(the President
is) presenting in reconciliation to the House of Representatives, I’ll bet you it won’t
even come close to passing. It’ll be defeated soundly (in the House). The members
not only do not like the bill, the process has been tainted and we’re not going to
attach our names to it.”

Robert Byrd, inventor of the reconciliation process has said its use for Obamacare
would be a violation of the spirit and intent of the law.

Are there a few brave Democratic Senators and Representatives with enough
patriotism to stand up to this tyranny? Even participating in this fiasco is against the
Constitution.

The American people are asking you to take your oath to the Constitution and your
constituents in mind when you vote. Later, good or bad,
we will hold you
responsible for your actions.

They’re coming to take you away Ha Ha!

The next time we see the President surrounded by white coats, maybe one of ‘em
will slip a straight-jacket over Dear Leader along with Pelosi and Reid.

If the terrorists are moved into this country won’t there be a vacancy somewhere
down in the Caribbean ?

Now there’s some
hope and change us beasts would sing to.
Joni Weinbaum

Funny stuff!!!

Dave Weinbaum replies:

Thanks Honi.

Dingani Beza

Dave...what i love about you is that you are a man of conviction. That is so honorable..
especially in this day and age..honestly. But, If you put as much energy my buddy into
stemming the tide of division as you do widening it...you would probably move
mountains! Politicians really dont have a choice in widening the gap...they have parties
and rules they have to follow to continue to play with all the other little politicians on
the playground...even Obama (again, I DONT agree with everything he does)...but...
we as citizens dont have to buy friends..politcians and the president does. So...we, as
the middle class..should focus our energies on common ground and coming together.
When we realize that there are just too many ppl on the earth to have "our" way, and
that we will have to give up some things to have what we want, then we will succeed.
We as citizens can win back america...not as Obama supporters or GOP supporters.
Aww..listen to my nostalgia go to work!

I dont believe in Obama...and I dont believe in McCain..i believe in the American ppl to
take back this country...and it wont happen even if we get rid of Obama. the next guy
will be just as bad...he will deliver a different policy which leads to the same
destruction....

I will be looking forward to your one or two line rebuttle..haha

Dingani Beza

Good column though...grammar, everything..spot on..lol

Dingani Beza

Im waitn big guy...its no fun givin u a hard time if I dont hear back from ya...I got
atleast 200 other friends that i can get a no response from..geeesh

Joni Weinbaum

He'll be back Dingani, he is in a meeting.

Dingani Beza

Darn...let them suit coats know he's got some facebookn to do!!!!!

Joni Weinbaum

:-}

Dave Weinbaum replies:

Damn D, I have a life and family too! Thanks for commenting but I haven't turned the
puter on til now! Forgive me, for I know what not I do.

Joni Weinbaum

You have another family your're not telling me about?

Robert Jeffrey Stoltz

Mr. Beza, how is Mr. Weinbaum widening the division? Mr. Weinbaum wants to rally
the citizens to take back their nation. He wants all to unite around the core
conservative values our founders believed in and set the country back on the
foundation of the Constitution and strengthen the republic.

Dingani Beza

Mr. Stolz...you are of the school of Weinbaum and i am not..so I will just agree to
disagree with you. Well, let me say everyone feels that their cause is to "take back the
nation." Thats nothing new. And...our fore fathers were Diests who could in no way
invision an America like today...NOT hardcore conservatives.

Dingani Beza

One of your professed conservatives Mr. Stolz, President Bush, turned large budget
surpluses into record deficits in record time by abandoning the "pay as u go" mentality
and abusing domestic spending, which now have been thrust onto the shoulders of
Obama, and he has been forced to spend. what was he to do, let the economy die and
watch Americans complain even more! Bush worsened the crisis in Social Security
and Medicare, and pharmaceutical lobbyists had a hay day during his tenure!

My point is this...Obama is not a hyporcrite. He understands that spending is currently
out of control...if you watched his state of the union address he admitted it! Admitted
it! But, he HAD to rescue the nation! Now, did it work, ...well,no! But it was an
attempt. He could not sit by idle and watch. The office of President is trial and error,
that sounds bad, but, anyone who is not willing to admit this is a liar, or, I have been
praying to the wrong God, I need to pray to them, bc they ARE GOD!

Dingani Beza

As a final statement...Obama is a man..and a single man cannot send this country into
bankruptcy. Just like it took many ppl to help Pres Bush destroy the national deficit. He
did not do it alone. And...when Bush was my leader, I supported him. So please,
support your leader and bring positive things and ideas to the table...not slander and
division.

Dingani Beza

When we tell ourselves that we are trying to "win back the nation"...that gives us
license to say and do anything...which to me is a major mistake.

Dave Weinbaum replies:

D., based on a lot of info, most of which is what he does, I don't think Obama is
acting to uphold and defend the Constitution as he swore to do. Plus some of the saner
things he said during the campaign, he's simply ignored and done the opposite. As to
what one man can do, it depends on the respect he gives to the other branches of
government and the opinions of the American people over the interests of enemies,
cheaters and scammers. My columns are replete with examples. I always hoped he'd
have an epifany and change, but it's obvious to me that he's representing a way of
governing that America has rejected time and time again.

Dingani Beza

as did the president that preceded him..right?

Dingani Beza

"Plus some of the saner things he said during the campaign, he's simply ignored and
done the opposite"

I challenge you to find one president who did not do this! If the candidate is our man,
we will defend him and come up with reasons why he did not do what he said he
would do; if the candidate is NOT our man, we will call him a hypocrite and liar.

Dave Weinbaum replies:

http://www.jewishworldreview.com/cols/krauthammer030510.php3
D, here's another take on the same subject from a guy who is REALLY smart. As to
Bush, he's a whole other subject, good and bad. Comparisons to Obama aren't terribly
applicable IMO.

"Plus some of the saner things he said during the campaign, he's simply ignored and
done the opposite"

Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Coolidge, Truman, Eisenhower, Reagan, parts of
Clinton's second term, and parts of the foreign policy but not spending of Dubya.
That's a quick look from what I know w/o a lot of in depth research.

Dingani Beza

Dave..dont try to make this difficult..comparing bush to obama is most certainly
applicable...give me a break..comparing All presidents is applicable..stop that...lol..
come on!

also...fox and msn both do major research..and come up with vastly opposing
opinions...so...ones research is heavily tainted by ones beliefs when they set out to
research buddy...

oscar

I am sorely afraid that this bill will be passed and then all the give aways and fine print
will be revealed.

Sirraj Bluebird

How does this heavily coded diatribe differ from Beck or Rush in context ?  Dave, you
can be a sincere unadulterated race baiter or you can portend to have some principled
disagreements with the administration on Philosophy just to hide your racially bigoted
tones. I regard Your positioning as poisonous and typical to our basest dilemma in this
country. Go away..or continue to audition for a Fox Talk show.

Dr. Dick

DAVE Weinbaum..You've gotteen the idea and are understanding Little
Boy President  talk. I am just completing my life story-unusual and
spiriting-and may name it Dr.DOITNOW, Hope Doolittle will understand
that it is the DOing that counts.

Dave Weinbaum replies:

Thanks for commenting Doc. Good luck with your book.

Kathy

Clever column! However, it is 'strait jacket'.

Dave Weinbaum replies:

OOPS! I’m firing my editor after flogging him first. Thanks for the catch, Kathy.

Murial DuBow

A perfect scenario; you are a poet, a playwright, a producer and a wit.
You write with pictures, set the scene and get the undeniable point
across very clearly.  Thanks for sharing.

Dave Weinbaum replies:

Dear Muriel,

Thank you for your kind words.

Megan Wadley

hey! that rhymes!

Dave Weinbaum replies:

You noticed!?

Lawrence Depenbusch

Dr. DOObamalittle talks to himself...

Dingani Beza

I would too if i was him..thats the only way he can get a word in otherwise....too
many "know it alls" in this country who think they could have fixed the disaster of the
Bush Administration in a single year...

Lawrence Depenbusch

Dr DOObamalittle has renter mentality...whine about his job, fix nothing, tear out the
rose garden, house his mother-in-law, dine lavishly, claim poverty, blame others, fix
nothing, act petulant...after taking deed to the White House!

Dingani Beza

That was pretty funny Lawrence...thats one of those "blueprint" one size fits all jokes...
u can replace obamas name with any other name and its still just as funny....uuuggh

Dingani Beza

Oh..and u know what bush did...he ran up the bills and moved!
he gets to go back to texas well off...the american ppl arent so lucky

Lawrence Depenbusch

"You break it, you buy it."

Dr.DOObamalittle owns what he broke.

Dave Weinbaum replies:

"Oh..and u know what bush did...he ran up the bills and moved!
he gets to go back to texas well off...the american ppl arent so lucky"

If an election was called today, you'd have him back!

Lawrence Depenbusch

BUSH2012

Robert Jeffrey Stoltz

I tried to defend you while you were busy Mr. Weinbaum! Mr. Beza, I don't have a
"cause". I believe in the founders and the Constitution. If you haven't read the
Federalist Papers & the anti-Federalist Papers, I encourage you to do so. Also, go read
the last will & testament of the founding fathers. You will find that many of their wills
include a testament to their faith that liberal modern history doesn't want people to
know about. Knowledge = Power!

Dingani Beza

Lolol...u r speaking of things i read in jr high! i have a copy of washingtons whole
testament...ha...giv me a break...dave..where did u befriend this guy!??

Lawrence Depenbusch

Robert assumes Beza can read or write in complete sentences?

Dave Weinbaum replies:

Hey Larry, no need to insult him. He's my friend, deluded, but my friend. And D, Jeff
is my friend. I don't have a clue why he feels it necessary to "defend" me but he's my
friend. And Jeff, in case you didn't read the first part, D's my friend.

Now that ahole, Jon Ullner is a PUTZ!

Lawrence Depenbusch

Hey Dave, Jon Ullner is my pal, looney, but a pal and there is no need to call him
names. No cookies for Beza....

Dingani Beza

(yawn)...moving on...really fellas?

Robert Jeffrey Stoltz

hopefully i didnt say anything unfriendly. you need no defending, however Mr. Beza
was upset you werent around to talk with so i was giving him someone to play with
while you were busy with your real life. i believe maybe a tad at the end there Mr. Beza
was not being friendly and trying to belittle me or our friendship. i was just trying to be
helpful and suggest he read something that defies his point of view. maybe if it has
been since jr high (i never went to jr high) that you read those documents, perhaps you
reading them again with all the wisdom you have gained over the years will shed new
light on the subjects contained in those tomes.

bs0915

Do you ever 'fact check' before you start spouting your rhetoric? You seriously need
to be on 'meds'.

Dave Weinbaum replies:

BS,

I resent your referencing Oscar that way. I'm SURE everthing he's said has been
thoroughly vetted.

Paperpuncher

Gee, it appears that bs is full of BS! :-)

Sulla Felix

Like I said..........arguments that fit on bumper stickers or rhyme with '1, 2, 3,
4'..........bs artists never backup their bumper sticker arguments, they just show up,
fling poo, and run out of the room congratulating themselves on their 'clever' taunt.
The socialist left seems full of poo flinging bs artists.

Sulla Felix

'Do you ever fact check......I mean, I can't point to anything specific, but I just know
(FEEL!) that your facts are wrong.......uhm, er, something......I mean, like.......yeah,
you're wrong........somehow........YEAH! I could look it up and, er, maybe find the
facts myself to, uhm, refute what you said, or something, but..........You should be on
MEDS (like me)!'

Poo flinging..........lol

Paperpuncher

ROTFLMAO!!..... ;>)

Ray-Ray

Dave....
As to your 'ditty'.....nice try, but I don't think Paul Shanklin will see you as a threat to
his livelihood any time soon ! ! !

bs....you demand 'facts', but then you resort to ad hominem. Now, THAT'S hysterical
! ! !

Sorry Dave, but 'bs' got to my funny bone a lot quicker than you did ; )

BB

It is difficult to take the dems opinions as serious---Google Gallup Poll dems as
socialist-- results 36% of our population have a favorable opinion of socialism, dems
are at 53%. I always thought it was 1/3 but they are worse than I thought. Check out
www.discoverthenetworks.org Go to saul alinsky then ck bo & compare. This is a
great website. Half of the dems are socialist!! dems google some of Pres. Reagan
quotes." Repubs- personal responsibility, small govt, strong military," & the dems
believe the oposite. dems use their emotions on issues we use the facts.

Pat Lazier

Nobel prize for zoology next? Anything is possible with this man.

Julie Jacob

Man Dave, this was outstanding!!! Joni is wright, funny stuff it is!!  I think Di needs
to be on your talk show, maybe some Friday am he will call you!!! That would be
great!!!

Pam Siegfried

Obviously this column is not one you show someone to convince them.  It's made for
rallying the troops instead.  But I was reading the comments, particularly the many by
Beza and I just think what he would say to the White Rose or Harriet Tubman "Gee.
How divisive.  You should put something contructive on the table and try to bring us
together."  On some things there is no common ground.  Now in health care reform
there certainly is common ground.  Problem is, I don't think Obama is at all sincere.  I
think he wants to be President.  End of story.  Which is why he was defending
preemptive action by the US at his Peace Prize acceptance speech, "as head of
state...". The Presidency is different when it's his.  So I think any meeting with Obama
is time wasted.  But like parole hearings for Charles Manson, you just have to do it,
waste of time or not.

OldProf

Sulla Felix: Glad to see you back in action. I hold you in considerable esteem for being
the most intelligent of the commentators on the wrong side of the argument. Hope you
have been well, during your absence.

John Russell

Harmful Heterosexuals = Dire Straights.

Dave Weinbaum replies:

Thanks for responding. Bad time to go off the meds?

John Russell

Off? I'm taking the enhanced version!

Dave Weinbaum replies:

LOL

John Russell

P.S. Until I read your post (or at least the comment to it) I never knew that it was not
straight jacket and I always wondered why they called it that. Now I know. Of
course, it was not a topic I devoted a lot of thought to.

And, while your up ... the Obama White Coats entry to America's Funniest Home
Videos is damn near word for word out of Elia Kazan's The Arrangement, where the
main character, an ad exec with a cigarette company client, wants to counter the
health issue with an ad where people in white coats are all discussing how they really
like cigarettes and all the health stuff is nonsense. He gets an opinion from the lawyers
which says if you don't say they're doctors you can dress them any way you like.

I was going to do a blog post about it, because I thought the idea of Our Most Ethical
and Transparent President Ever acting like a scummy ad man from a potboiler novel
was

1.pretty funny, and
2.more proof that God has a wicked sense of humor
but then I figured the odds of one of my 23.75 regular readers having read the book
were pretty thin so I didn't. I figured the odds that you had were substantially better. If
you haven't, and if memory serves, it might be worth the time to get a well-crafted
snapshot of a time when ad execs were glamorous, smoking was cool, special ops
guys were idolized, and the president was fucking the Godfather's mistress while his
brother went after organized crime.

Glen

Good show!

All you needed was a wee bit of music.

Dave Weinbaum replies:

Thanks Glen. Too bad I can’t sing.
